Frame Rate Over Ray Tracing

I hit this point where I had to choose between running games at high settings with lower FPS or lowering graphics for smoother gameplay, and honestly that decision changed everything. At first I was stubborn, kept everything maxed out because it “looked better”, but the stutters and input lag were annoying. Then I tried lowering settings and suddenly everything felt way more responsive, like I was actually in control. After that I started questioning if visuals were ever that important compared to how the game feels in motion. Now I can’t go back to sacrificing smoothness just for nicer lighting.

Yeah once you get used to smooth gameplay it’s really hard to ignore performance issues, no matter how good a game looks. There’s often a trade-off that isn’t obvious at first, and figuring out where the balance lies can take time. What seems important initially might not hold the same weight after repeated use. It’s a gradual adjustment.
