How to assess the security of a WordPress site without in-depth knowledge

Renatto
I want to assess the security of my WordPress site. I don't have extensive knowledge of website administration, but I understand the general principles. I need a way to get an objective picture of the security status. What do you recommend?

You might want to consider using online vulnerability scanners, such as Sucuri SiteCheck or WPScan. They'll check your kernel versions, plugins, and themes for known CVEs, as well as your basic server settings.

For a quick assessment, you can use a specialized WordPress security scanner. It performs an external analysis of key parameters, such as SSL and plugin status. A detailed report with identified vulnerabilities and recommendations is sent to your email. An example of such a tool can be found here https://cyberpress.agency/scanner-securite-wordpress
