companies in Latvia. Limited Liability Company (SIA), Joint Stock Company (AS), and (SIA) with no minimum capital.
Limited Liability Company (SIA)
SIA is the most common form of the legal establishment in Latvia. A Limited Liability Company (SIA) is a legal person, and its shares are not publicly traded.
Minimum share capital: 2800 EUR
Founders may be both natural and legal persons
Shares can be paid up by cash or property contributions
Stock Company (AS)
A stock company (AS) is a company whose shares may be the subject of public circulation. AS is a legal person.
Minimum share capital: EUR 35 000
The equity and the nominal value of one share can be divided by the smallest nominal value of the AS company shares and ten cents.
Limited liability company (SIA) with no minimum capital
A Limited Liability Company (SIA) is a legal person and its shares are not publicly traded.
Share capital: is EUR 1-2799
Shareholders and Founders have to be natural persons, and the maximum number of founders and shareholders can be five;
The board of the company may only consist of the shareholders of the company;
